Whilst the great British summer’s persistent rain may have dampened the spirits of the hardiest of barbeque fans, it did nothing to rain on Garic’s parade at the recent Plantworx show.
Garic, one of the UK’s most innovative manufacturers and suppliers of construction site welfare facilities, proudly launched the latest in its range of eco-efficient solar powered products – a new highly innovative drying room which looks set to save up to 86% in energy costs.
The drying room proved to be a haven for visitors on the show’s first day as torrential rain and wind threatened to cut short visiting times for many who had eagerly waited to visit the biennial construction products showcase.
Garic’s sales director, Neil Richardson said: “On the day we launched the solar drying room the weather was atrocious so we were glad to be able to offer plenty of units for visitors to shelter in. At any one point, most of our employee welfare products were being utilised by clients holding meetings in welfare vans, new contacts having demos in the drying rooms and presentations being held in our modular office suites.
“Visitors were really pleased to be able to take a break and dry off in the 25 degree heat of the drying room – they were in no rush to leave!
“Suffice to say we had an excellent show and secured some great quality sales and hire leads. And as some of the 28 products we were showing included wheel and boot washers, the weather wasn’t a problem – it just added another realistic dimension of life on site!”
