It appears that Garic’s latest mantra; ‘Go the extra mile to win and keep clients’ is reaping dividends in all areas of its business.
The company, one of the most trusted manufacturers and suppliers of plant and welfare facilities, is currently blazing a trail in the social housing sector as it looks to build upon its reputation as the go-to supplier for social housing construction and refurbishment providers.
Now, nine months after securing its biggest social housing contract to date with leading North West contractor Forrest, the company has been shortlisted for another industry award.
The coveted Supplier of the Year category in the Housing Excellence Awards is a new entry for Garic which has already celebrated five other prestigious award shortlistings in the last ten months.
This entry, in which the company had to evidence how it performs in terms of reliability and efficiency, overall customer service, its attitude to partnering, how it thinks outside the box to help clients drive down costs and reduce their carbon footprint, leaves Garic in good shortlisting company.
It will be vying for the title against five other suppliers including; Hilti, Bromak Recruitment, Grafton Supply Chain Solutions (GSCS), Gas Safe Europe Ltd and Jaga Heating Products.
Neil Richardson, director said: “We’re all thrilled that our work has been recognised by one of the largest award schemes in the housing sector.
“The social housing industry is more aware than ever of its need to source and deploy the most efficient, cost effective and reliable products available and this has driven us lead the way in plant and welfare innovations.
“We are also looking to forge further partnerships throughout the supply chain and social housing client sector. This will enable all parties to focus on collaboration and continuous improvement rather than profit margins and timescales – a winning combination indeed.”
The Housing Excellence Awards will take place at a gala dinner on Wednesday 11 May at The Palace Hotel, Manchester.
