Garic One of First to Meet Latest ISO9001 Requirements

Garic is proud of its hard-earned reputation for quality and has been checking to see that its management standards are in line with the very latest ISO9001 requirements.

The leading supplier of site welfare and set up equipment has reviewed every aspect of its business from top to bottom in the past few months. The company is making sure its management standards are in line with the latest ISO9001 requirements ahead of the September 2018 deadline.

Commenting on Garic’s efforts, safety consultant Nicola Hull said; “ISO9001 is the world’s most widely recognised quality management initiative, it plays a really important part in ensuring quality standards are achieved and maintained across all business sectors. It’s been great working with Garic since the beginning of the year, guiding them through the process of carefully reassessing their operations and upgrading certain aspects.

“There are two particular areas of change; companies are now required to enlist greater top management involvement and properly address all aspects of business risk. Both changes are really quite far reaching requiring considerable input from everyone in a company. I’ve been really impressed by Garic’s approach, they have all been really open and enthusiastic and I’m delighted that they are one of the first companies in their sector to have reached achieved the new standard.”

Garic managing director Colin Hotchkiss added: “We work hard to maintain the leading reputation we have achieved and strive to keep improving by constantly reviewing how we do things – not just the manufacturing and sourcing processes we use but across every aspect of running the business and supporting our staff and customers.

“Implementing the upgraded ISO9001 requirements has been a very useful part of that and I’m really proud of the effort everyone at Garic has made to get behind the initiative.”
