As one of the most trusted manufacturers and suppliers of site welfare products, Garic is always striving to benchmark its progress and demonstrate a commitment to getting things right.
Being one of the largest providers of site equipment in the UK also means having an exceptional transport fleet and this has been recognised once again by the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS).
Having maintained its Bronze and Silver accreditations, Garic has now been awarded the highest FORS recognition; the Gold standard.
The FORS scheme which accredits best practice for commercial vehicle operators is considered the transport industry’s go-to accreditation scheme. It encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency and environmental protection by assessing how fleet operators measure, monitor and improve their performance.
Gold accreditation is only awarded to exceptional operators who have met exacting targets, demonstrated further improvements against the baseline data of the silver standard and achieved exemplary levels of best practice.
Mark Booth, Garic’s transport manager said: “Receiving FORS Gold is a fantastic achievement and reflects the level of professionalism and commitment of our in-house transport operations.
“There are very few competitors within our industry who have this level of recognition and we’ll be very proud to display the FORS Gold logo on our fleet.”
